Protiviti named launch partner for Microsoft Supply Chain Platform

Microsoft has selected Protiviti to help companies set up and customize its recently launched Microsoft Supply Chain Platform software solution.

Protiviti is the IT services unit of Robert Half, a publicly-traded staffing firm. Companies hire the company when they need to set up a new piece of software or wish to take some IT maintenance tasks off their internal tech teams’ hands.

“We’re excited to be selected by Microsoft as a launch partner to implement its latest suite of tools,” commented Tom Andreesen, a Protiviti managing director who’s in charge of the company’s partnership with Microsoft. “This partnership will help meet market demand, and we look forward to working with Microsoft to ensure success for our customers.”

Protiviti has a long-standing relationship with Microsoft. The firm was even a finalist in Microsoft’s most recent partner of the year awards contest, which is no small feat seeing how the software behemoth has thousands of partners worldwide.

Protiviti will assist companies with the task of setting up Microsoft’s recently introduced Supply Chain Platform. The platform includes several existing Microsoft products such as Teams along with a new product called Supply Chain Center, which will be the main highlight for customers.

Supply Chain Center enables a company’s logistics professionals to see all the information they need to be productive in one place. The application quickly retrieves normally hard-to-find data points, like how long an overseas business unit takes to restock merchandise.

Supply Chain Center also includes several value-added tools.

The software comes with AI models that can predict potential logistics issues ahead of time. In addition, Microsoft will enable companies that use Supply Chain Platform to sell their custom logistics software to one another.

Setting up piece of software as complex Supply Chain Platform consists of multiple steps. Protiviti will guide clients through those steps to ensure the software installation process goes smoothly.

In the first phase of implementation projects, Protiviti works with companies to design a strategy for setting up Supply Chain Platform. That strategy covers details such as how the software should be customized to best meet the needs of a company’s employees.

Once all the planning is done, Protiviti’s engineers come in to handle the hands-on aspects of installing the Supply Chain Platform. And if a customer needs ongoing assistance with maintaining its Supply Chain Platform deployment, Protiviti can provide software management services.
