Management consultancy EFESO has appointed Shannon Gabriel to the helm of a new team that will provide an interim executive service.

Houston, Texas-based EFESO has more than 1,000 staffers across several dozen offices. One of its main specialties is helping asset-heavy companies such as manufacturers boost business performance. EFESO can work with a firm’s leadership team to develop a new product, figure out the most efficient way to produce that product and source the necessary materials. Its consultants also lend a hand with related tasks such as streamlining production line maintenance procedures.

Gabriel joined EFESO as a partner last month after 8 years at another management consultancy called TBM Consulting Group. That firm also generates much of its revenue from clients in asset-heavy verticals.

Gabriel’s team will provide interim executives for manufacturers and private equity firms that own manufacturers. EFESO says that those interim executives’ work will encompass, among other tasks, the development of business improvement plans. The firm is promising “measurable outcomes” within days or weeks.

EFESO’s interim executive service is called Interim Management. It will be available to clients in North America.
