ManpowerGroup’s TAPFIN launches workforce data platform

TAPFIN is moving into the software market with PartnerPX, a platform designed to help companies manage contingent workers.
TAPFIN is a unit of ManpowerGroup, one of the world’s largest recruiting firms. Companies hire the subsidiary to manage their contingent workforce programs. At the start of a project, TAPFIN maps out what professionals the client organization should hire and how. It then works with a network of recruiting firms to onboard the talent. Once the hiring process is complete, TAPFIN handles ongoing administrative work such as fixing cost overruns.
The ManpowerGroup unit’s work also extends to other areas. Notably, it collects data about the performance of the contingent workforce programs that it runs for clients. Customers can use that information to measure their return on investment. According to TAPFIN, the data is also useful for the recruiting firms with which it partners to source contingent talent. Those partners can use the information to improve the quality of their work.
PartnerPX, TAPFIN’s new software platform, is designed to ease the task of delivering contingent workforce data to business stakeholders. It tracks metrics such as hiring speed, worker retention and recruiting costs. The software makes that data available to TAPFIN, its clients and recruiting firm partners through a set of real-time dashboards.
PartnerPX is designed to replace the so-called scorecards that companies typically use to track workforce performance. The data in such scorecards isn’t always up-to-date, which limits their usefulness.

“Unlike traditional account-by-account scorecards that provide a limited, retrospective view, PartnerPX aligns all stakeholders around standardized metrics, shared benchmarks, and real-time performance insights,” Jessica Malachowski, the head of global partnerships at TAPFIN, told Boardroom Insight. “It transforms performance conversations from reviewing the past to improving the future.”
Another issue with traditional data scorecards is that they don’t always provide an accurate view of project success. As a result, the recruiting firm that supports a contingent workforce program and the client organization can end up with two different reads on its performance. TAPFIN says that PartnerPX addresses the problem.
“PartnerPX establishes a common language for performance across clients, suppliers, and TAPFIN,” Malachowski explained. “The result is greater transparency, faster action, stronger accountability, and better workforce outcomes. When everyone measures success the same way, collaboration improves, issues are identified sooner, and continuous improvement becomes part of the operating model rather than a quarterly exercise.”
