RSM grows its market presence in Europe with new acquisitions

RSM Global, one of the world’s largest professional services networks, has made five new acquisitions in Europe to support its long-term revenue growth.
The firms detailed that two of the deals were in France. RSM has acquired Sadex in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, an administrative region where it already maintains several offices, to grow its local audit and tax business. RSM says that the deal boosts its headcount in the area to 300. Over in the northern region of Grand Est, the firm has picked up a wealth management and business consulting provider called CAP 21.
RSM made its third acquisition in neighboring Spain. To address revenue opportunities in the local legal services market, the firm has acquired a law firm called Lébeq. The deal grows RSM’s Spanish office network to six locations.
The two other deals that the firm announced as part of its market expansion initiative were in Austria and Denmark. In Austria, accounting firm Moore Interaudit Salzburg is joining RSM to bolster its value proposition for midsize businesses and “international-owner managed groups,” a category that encompasses many German companies. RSM’s Danish purchase, meanwhile, is a professional services firm called J H Revision that supports clients in the Copenhagen metropolitan area.
The context for the news is that RSM’s European member firms boosted their collective revenue by 23% last year, significantly outpacing the growth rate of the network as a whole. The five new acquisitions in Europe will make it easier for the firm to maintain that momentum going forward by giving it access to more talent and client relationships.
