Protiviti moves up in Microsoft’s partner program

Protiviti, the IT consulting arm of recruiting behemoth Robert Half, has won all six of the destinations Microsoft issues as part of its consultancy partner program.
Microsoft is a core pillar of the IT industry. It has more than 100 different products that can be used for thousands of different business tasks, from building software to creating earnings reports.
Because of the vast scope of this product lineup, very few IT consultancies works across Microsoft’s entire collection of software offerings. In other words, a consultancy that can help firms install Office likely can’t assistant them with setting up Microsoft Power Platform.
Protiviti is now one of the very few exceptions to the rule. The fact that it has won all six of the partner destinations Microsoft issues to consultancies means the firm can now take on projects related to practically any Microsoft product.
Winning the destinations took a lot of work. Protiviti, which has more than 7,000 employees worldwide, was a Microsoft partner for over a decade before reaching its current position.
The first destination Protiviti has won qualifies it to take on consulting projects that involve Microsoft’s cybersecurity products. The two next destinations, in turn, focus on Microsoft’s productivity, AI and analytics products.
Protiviti’s consulting services also span application modernization. The last three of the six destinations it has won qualify the firm to modernize companies’ legacy Microsoft-powered applications, move those applications to the cloud and build cloud-native services.
To earn a Microsoft partner destination, a consultancy must not only demonstrate the necessary technical expertise but also show real-world results. That means Microsoft expects its consulting partners to demonstrate multiple successful client implementations.
“I’m proud of our team’s dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences and grateful for our clients that continue to choose Protiviti as their trusted Microsoft partner” remarked Tom Andreesen, the Protiviti executive in charge of the company’s partnership with Microsoft.
