Deloitte integrates new cybersecurity tools into its AI consulting offering

Deloitte plans to provide customers of its S2S AI Factory as a Service consulting offering with access to two specialized cybersecurity tools.
The tools, Prisma AIRS and AI Access Security, are developed by Palo Alto Networks.
Deloitte launched S2S AI Factory as a Service last year. It’s a suite of consulting services that can help companies set up computing environments for running AI workloads. Deloitte provisions the necessary hardware, most notably GPUs, and installs the software tools that the client requires. The Big Four firm can then manage that infrastructure on an ongoing basis.
Enterprises often source the neural networks that power their AI applications from the open-source ecosystem. Prisma AIRS, the first new cybersecurity tool that Deloitte will provide to clients, can check those open-source algorithms for vulnerabilities. It also finds insecure configuration settings in the environment that hosts a company’s AI models.
Deloitte clients will also gain access to Palo Alto Networks’ AI Access Security tool. It allows companies to prevent employees from using insecure chatbot services. For authorized chatbots, IT teams can configure rules that ensure sensitive business data isn’t included in prompts.
“Organizations are contending with many barriers to widespread AI adoption, including security, safety and even performance,” Kieran Norton, the cyber AI and automation leader at Deloitte’s U.S. member firm, said in a prepared statement. “These cyber capabilities and solutions can aid in effectively navigating these challenges.”
