Grant Thornton Advisors launches CrowdStrike-powered cybersecurity services

Grant Thornton Advisors is launching a suite of managed cybersecurity services powered by CrowdStrike’s Falcon software.
Falcon is one of the world’s most popular breach detection products. It can spot malware on employee devices, servers and a long list of other systems. The software also automates some of the work involved in containing breaches. For example, Falcon can disconnect a laptop from the corporate network if it exhibits suspicious behavior.
Grant Thornton Advisors’ new managed cybersecurity offerings are based on a version of the platform called Falcon Complete. The latter offering combines Falcon with breach response services from CrowdStrike. The software maker helps clients remove malware from their infrastructure, restore affected systems and understand what happened.
Grant Thornton Advisors will augment Falcon Complete’s core feature set with its own professional services. The firm says those services set its value proposition apart from traditional managed cybersecurity offerings.

“Our approach builds on CrowdStrike Falcon Complete by adding a layer of continuous, client-focused engagement,” Tony Buffomante, Grant Thornton Advisors’ national managing partner of cyber and risk services, told Boardroom Insight. “We provide an onshore Customer Success Manager who works directly with the client to ensure configurations are optimized, business context is fully understood, and the service is continuously evolving to meet their needs.”
Grant Thornton’s services make use of a Falcon feature called Charlotte AI AgentWorks. It enables companies to create custom AI agents that automate repetitive cybersecurity tasks. For example, a hotel operator could create an agent that enriches breach alerts with information about recent hacking campaigns directed at the hospitality sector.
“We extend CrowdStrike AgentWorks into client environments, enabling tailored agents developed by Grant Thornton to analyze, decide and act on security tasks at machine speed to counter increasingly sophisticated, AI-enabled threats,” Buffomante said. “Together, this shifts the focus from reactive response to proactive risk reduction and improved cybersecurity maturity.”
When a breach occurs, cybersecurity teams produce a report that maps out the scope and cause of the incident. Such assessments are mandatory in many sectors. According to Buffomante, Grant Thornton Advisors provides digital forensics services that help clients expedite the breach analysis process. The firm says that the technical data it collects simplifies tasks such as regulatory compliance.
“We connect these insights and improvements back to each client’s risk and controls framework,” Buffomante explained. “This gives organizations clear visibility into risk reduction while also enabling them to demonstrate compliance and audit readiness. That alignment across security, risk and compliance functions is critical in today’s evolving threat and regulatory environment.”
