Avanade introduces Microsoft consulting bundles for the middle market

Technology consulting firm Avanade has introduced a new set of offerings designed to help companies modernize their IT systems.

Avanade launched more than 20 years ago as a joint venture between Accenture, the world’s largest IT services provider, and Microsoft. The former firm is its majority stakeholder. Avanade’s 60,000-plus employees mainly focus on helping companies adopt Microsoft products. That work encompasses tasks such as rolling out GitHub Copilot to a firm’s developers and optimizing Azure environments. Avanade also has a sizable managed services business.

The firm’s new suite of consulting offerings likewise focuses on Microsoft technology. The first service, Cloud Move, is designed to help companies shift on-premise workloads to Azure. Customers who sign up receive access to an Avanade-developed software tool called ANALYZE. According to the consultancy, it can scan a company’s cloud environment and identify inefficient spending that could be invested elsewhere.

The tool is also included in the three other additions to Avanade’s consulting portfolio. One service is designed to help customers modernize their ERP environments. Another offering, Intelligent Contact Centre, focuses on automating repetitive call center work with AI. The suite is rounded out by a cybersecurity service called Intelligent Security Operations.

All four offerings are geared towards midmarket companies, which Avanade defines as firms with annual sales of $300 million to $5 billion. The consulting bundles are available in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia on launch. Avanade plans to bring them to additional markets in the coming weeks.
