Adecco inks multiyear AI agent partnership with Salesforce

Adecco, one of the world’s largest recruiting firms, has bought an unlimited license to Salesforce’s Agentforce 360 platform.

The deal is part of a multiyear initiative to automate manual work for employees.

Switzerland-based Adecco logged more than €23.08 billion in sales last year. The firm generates the bulk of its revenue from helping businesses recruit new employees. It also has two large subsidiaries called Akkodis and LHH that provide IT services and upskilling programs, respectively.

The Agentforce 360 license that the company has bought will enable employees across all its businesses to use the software through 2027. Adecco’s UK subsidiary already relies on the product to automate certain recruiting tasks. According to the company, its Agentforce 360 deployment has reduced both the duration and cost of filling open roles for client organizations.

Agentforce 360 is a suite of tools for building AI agents. A no-code wizard enables customers to put together an agent without manual programming. From there, Agentforce 360’s other modules can be used to add more advanced customizations. One tool makes it possible to integrate agents with MCP servers, while another adds support for voice commands. A third module makes it possible to embed custom agents into a company’s mobile apps.

Agentforce 360’s feature set also covers more niche use cases. Developers can configure their agents to offload sensitive tasks from the underlying LLM to a developer-written script, which reduces the risk of errors. Unlike an AI mode, scripts don’t hallucinate. Another tool makes it possible to check an agent for cybersecurity vulnerabilities by simulating a large number of user requests.

Adecco will use its newly bought unlimited license to expand its use of Agentforce 360 in the UK and France. Over time, it plans to roll out AI agents to additional countries. The firm’s goal for the year is to embed AI agents in business processes that cumulatively generate more than €11 billion in revenue.
